101 Things v2 Progress Report: June 2014

Begin Date: April 4, 2013
End Date: December 31, 2015
Items Completed: 27
Items that won’t be Completed: 3

I finished 3 items in June 2014.

#72 Steam-clean our rug and the basement carpet (You don’t even want to know what the used water from the basement carpet looked like. So gross.)

#80 Get our bikes tuned up (Matt got a new bike, so we’re set! We rode to the store yesterday.)

#91 Go through the entire house and either donate, sell, or throw away the things we don’t want to move (We agreed that we’d gone through every square foot of our house, so this is done! I just listed the last round of stuff on eBay.)

Items added in June 2014:

#93 Do Project 365 again in 2015 (Since we’re planning to move next year, it’s a good time for it.)

Items currently in progress:

#19 Put $12,000 more in savings (~6 months of nondiscretionary expenses) [1.5/12] (I’m adding $1000/month, so this should be pretty quick.)

#20 Update my financial planning docs and go over them with Matt (We’re close to having our financial master directory done, and then this will be complete.)

#21 Finish my web application in C# and ASP.NET MVC4 Razor (I’ve been working on it like crazy!)

#25 Increase my deferral to Christmas Club and actually use that money for Christmas gifts

#27 Double my net worth

#55 *Visit 30 new local restaurants/bars [18/30] (Brasserie Zentral, Sonora Grill, Zeke’s Unchained Animal)

#89 Do one of those daily knitting projects for an entire year (Halfway done! I need to take a picture of it.)

#99 Put $20 towards debt payoff/savings for each completed task on this list, and $50 for each non-completed task ($690)

Here’s the full list.
