101 Things v2 Progress Report: May 2014 2

Begin Date: April 4, 2013
End Date: December 31, 2015
Items Completed: 24
Items that won’t be Completed: 3

I finished 1 item in May 2014.

45) Be at work before 8am every day for a week

Items added in May 2014:

#91 Go through the entire house and either donate, sell, or throw away the things we don’t want to move (We’ve done this with our entire basement storage room, the attic, and most of our office already. I also had my old photos scanned and got rid of a ton of albums. There’s a lot more to do, though!)

#92 Kayak on Minnehaha Creek (We live a block away from it. There’s no excuse.)

#98 Move away from Minnesota (I told Matt I wanted to put this on my list a while ago and he didn’t think it was feasible within the timeframe. Now we’re planning on it, so it’s here!)

Items currently in progress:

#19 Put $12,000 more in savings (~6 months of nondiscretionary expenses) (We’re debt-free now, so this is the main priority for the next year.)

#20 Update my financial planning docs and go over them with Matt (We’re close to having our financial master directory done, and then this will be complete.)

#25 Increase my deferral to Christmas Club and actually use that money for Christmas gifts

#55 *Visit 30 new local restaurants/bars [15/30] (Red Cow, Rinata)

#84 Kayak in 20 new places [8/20] (Lake Phalen, Lake Shakopee, Rum River)

#86 Learn to tie knots, because this seems like useful knowledge. (We had our first lesson at camping. I made this.)

#89 Do one of those daily knitting projects for an entire year (Here it is, through the end of May.)

#99 Put $20 towards debt payoff/savings for each completed task on this list, and $50 for each non-completed task ($540)

Here’s the full list.
