Dudes. I’ve been sick for a week. It seems like it’s slowly getting better, and I’m really looking forward to being able to go back to regular things, like hearing and going to the gym and breathing. This sucks.
This weekend contained much in the way of Gophers hockey and good entertainment. We visited the Hat Trick Lounge, The Dragon (David Fong’s North), and David Fong’s (The Dragon South). We hung out with Willis, who I haven’t seen in a very long time. Hockey Day Minnesota was awesome as always!
Yesterday, we did nothing but watch a million sporting events. I got a ton of knitting done on Girasole, which now has 680 stitches on the needles. I feel like a round takes about an hour, but it’s worth it. It’s going to be gorgeous.
Also, my car doors were frozen shut this morning, due to a car wash I got on Saturday. Luckily, Matt has today off, so I was able to take his car. If I’m extra-lucky, they’re not checking the parking lot today; my contract parking hangtag was also frozen inside my car.
Matt checked when he went out to shovel, and says it’s now unfrozen. This winter still sucks, but that is awesome. Yay!
