Mary and I just got back from watching the inauguration at the Little Wagon. The place was full and dead-silent for all the speeches, except for the occasional eruption of clapping and cheering. I loved it.
It’s been a very long time since I felt that the concept of ethics was welcome in Washington. And I appreciate that Terry Keegan welcomed the crowd, hardcore conservative that he is!
Also, though 10 miles apart, Matt and I both cracked up when our new president said “Khe Sanh”. Here’s hoping the first family will be watching The Big Lebowski later tonight at the White House.
