You know it’s been a good night when you wake up the next morning and the living room looks like it was hit by a clothes tornado.
So, dudes, I do not have orange hair, and that is why you could not find me the other day. Mahogany managed to fit in the dyeing, and it was a spectacular team effort. Also, the tiny baby booties were very popular. Hooray! (Speaking of babies, congratulations to Kris and Orsi, who have a new daugher as of last night!) Yesterday, I got an email from Costa about a balcony sale, so I called to check on the price difference. It ended up costing about $50 to move us up to a room with a view, and I’m ridiculously excited about that. January isn’t as far away as it seems. Last night, Cindi and I had a very, very subdued girls’ night (now dubbed ‘jay night’), because she’s been sick. We knitted at Dunn Brothers, then went over to Spyhouse to talk about housecleaning, needlepoint, and child-rearing. Or vaginas. Something like that. I am currently wearing these at my desk because it is so goddamn cold in here (69 degrees, snort). It’s really weird to not be able to see any tattoos. But holy crap, I did a good job with them. Yay! OK, I’m off to the farmers market. Happy almost-weekend! Jenni
