the exciting return of: QUESTIONS! and even more CAPSLOCK!!

Hello, dear everyone. I have stopped back to see you again this week!

I’m leaving tomorrow afternoon for Florida, and I will return sometime on Tuesday. During that time, I will be accumulating suntan and shaking it, but not breaking it. SO EXCITED.

Northwest Airlines emailed me yesterday to tell me they’d upgraded me to first class. Holy crap! They promised me they’d do that sometimes, but I never made the mistake of actually believing them. So tomorrow I will be flying to Orlando big pimpin’ style, and I will not be afraid to take advantage of the free liquor, because it’s the right thing to do; it’s damn near patriotic. Also, I will most certainly be laughing the whole time about being in first class.

Dude, wouldn’t it be awesome if they put spinners on an airplane?!? Ok, anyway.

Yesterday, I gave in to my four-day ear-and-throat pain, and went to see the doctor. I probably wouldn’t even have gone, but for the fear of having an ear infection in Florida. The results were inconclusive, and all I know for sure is I don’t have strep. She gave me a prescription for antibiotics, so I guess I’ll carry the slip of paper around with me until I feel like I either am or am not cured. OH, THE CURSE OF NARROW EUSTACHIAN TUBES. It’s been a really long time since I got an ear infection, though. I just don’t want my ear to explode in a juicy way when I’m on the plane. Yuck.

After work, I walked around my lake, and I’m getting my time down very very close to an hour (which means I’m between 4.5 and 5mph, dang). It was warm and painfully humid; I had torn off my clothes before my apartment door was even shut all the way. I cannot believe the difference that the combination of the leg-press and speed work has made. I’m assuming most of that is due to the fact I’m close to 300lb on the leg press, because I’m seeing the biggest difference on hills and stairs; I feel like I could climb forever. Who’s ready for four days in Denali? I AM!

The later-evening was spent with Cindi, Kaye, Sean, and sometimes Joe. Cindi got to play DDR for the first time, but not the last. Sean and I invented a drink which we were pretty sure was the awesomest thing ever, and this morning I can’t for the life of me figure out why, because it tasted like Worchestershire sauce. Tonight, the revelry continues at the Red Dragon, with a bunch of cool girls and a boy named Spider. If that isn’t a recipe for awesome, I don’t know what is.

In Team Boobylicious news, we have another new teammate, Ashley! And our team is now over the $20,000 mark! It’s kind of hard to believe that was our original goal. So, my mom is hosting a charity garage sale next weekend, and I’m hoping the new teammates want to put together some other fundraisers this summer. Wendy and I were mumbling about one ourselves yesterday, so I guess we’ll probably talk about that when I get back.

On the list of things to talk about when I get back as well: my four-day birthday party in two weeks. HELL YES.

OK, this time I’m really saying bye til next week. Have an awesome Memorial Day, everyone!

your questions, answered

q:
i had to go back 3 months to find this question box. what gives? i heart the questions!

a:
Well, I answered all the questions I had (the ones that were not really lame, at least), so the question box disappeared, and then people forgot to ask more questions! This is obviously a huge dilemma that can only be solved by you asking many, many more questions.

OR ELSE.
