Howdy, pardners.
Today I have been drowning in awesomeness and excitement for no reason in particular other than the general sunshiny state of things and also perhaps my new shoes! But mostly the things. When last we spoke, it was Thursday. In the intervening days, I have had dinner at Bryant-Lake Bowl with Matt and Julia, celebrated Cin’s 10th anniversary in Minneapolis at Brit’s, cursed the three straight days of rain, gone to Luce and the Turf Club with las chicas (I think every bar should have a photo booth, seriously), purchased tickets for SEVEN Gophers Hockey games this season, had the best brunch ever with Matt at Town Talk, gone to Wisconsin with Kaye, Jumi, and Cindi to camp in the wet/cold (no, it was awesome) in my superbadass tent which has hanging drink holders, and also gone to see Jackass with Kaye, which had me hiding behind my knees from grossness, and crying because I was laughing so hard. Tonight I am going to do more things, yes I am. You will likely hear of this later. Also! I made a change so that queenofsubtle.com now goes to my Flickr, because this only makes sense. I signed up for a dance class with Melanie, invoiced my last freelance project (possibly ever? haha), and made extensive plans for Oktoberfest(s). I may also be panicking a little that the 612 Party is coming up so fast, rapidly followed by Halloween, and HOLY CRAP IT IS ALL GOING TO RULE. OK, I have to calm down now.
