You know what time it is? List time! I’m hurrying!

1) My travel journals for Las Vegas and San Diego have been posted. I wanted to get those wrapped up before leaving for vacation on Friday, and of course because it’s in accordance with my 101 Things goal of completing those within 60 days of returning from a trip.

2) We visited the Museum of Russian Art yesterday, which also knocked off #54 on my 101 Things list. I’m nearly 25% done, which is good since I’m also approximately 250 days in.

3) I got the rollers off my press this weekend, but can’t remove two of the trucks. They’re all crusty with old grease and dirt, so I’m hoping the mineral spirits and machine oil I got at Home Depot will help resolve that problem. I also realized that the Boxcar base is too large to fit a quoin next to it along the top edge of the chase, so I have to remeasure and figure out where that went wrong. Pretty sure the chase is a standard size, so maybe they sent an un-cut base? I’m so close to being able to test everything and make sure it’s in good shape. Fingers crossed, because it really looks like it.

3a) (Did that sound like I was speaking another language? Sorry.)

4) Saturday, we went to help set up Pour Decisions Brewery. It was pretty amazing to see how it all comes together, and holy crap, it’s complicated. (There was a lot of metal-cutting and Kris rolling around on a cherry picker. Also, Pete and Klein fighting with a sledgehammer.)

5) I’m now three weeks into my new exercise plan via Philips DirectLife, and I’ve easily tripled my activity level. I used to go to the gym 3-4 times a week for 30-40 minutes, but Phil (my activity monitor) is having none of that. Now I get a variety of more intense exercise daily, and I can tell it’s working because I’m sore every damn day. Oh, and I really love swimming. The Edinborough pool is great.

6) Tonight I’m going to go work some compost and fertilizer into my garden before it snows. (Minnesota is awesome. Really.) I need to figure out where to put my new potato bins, too!

7) This just arrived! Now I guess we’ll need to get to Jost Van Dyke sometime soon. On a sailboat, if we’re doing it right.
