BACON ketchup!

Feliz Dia De Los Muertos, muchachos!

Today I begin my efforts to post every single day throughout the month of November, so I am taking a break from both aggregate functions and Secure Sockets Layer to come and speak to you this morning.

Monday night was weightlifting class, and I’m very happy to already be considering upping my weights. I spend way too much time worrying about my neck, though, but holy crap, my shoulders hurt lately. Hmm.

After class, we had knitting. See, I’m bad at things like sitting when I’m at home, and therefore hadn’t knit since last spring. So we organized FightKnitting Club at Dunn Brothers. I showed up a little early, changed out of my workout clothes in Miguel (another thing it’s possible to do in a Mini!), and then proceeded to gossip with Chele, Jumi, and Lara for an hour. And oh yeah, I knitted a bunch too.

As a result, I’m once again fully obsessed with knitting, and it’s all I want to do. Last night I neglected my very messy apartment and knitted for an hour before class. I’m making convertible mittens, and I finished the first finger on one of the gloves already. AWESOME.

Later on, I went to bellydance class and got to wear my jinglebutt scarf for the first time. I love it a lot, and I love that class for making me feel so totally goofy while having so much fun at the same time. Melanie and I went over to Cindi’s to change after class, and we headed over to Town Talk for Halloween.

We found Nick, Nathan, and Ben in costume. We were joined by a bunch of folks, and I got to introduce three new people to the Mexican Wrestler. As always, we played stupid games and laughed our asses off all night, and I got home way too late, in keeping with Tuesday being the new Saturday. If only Wednesday were the new Sunday, this work thing wouldn’t even be an issue.

Tonight is my only night off, and therefore I have big plans involving buying food for my cattle, cleaning my house, doing laundry, and — surprise! — knitting. Also, since the holidays have officially begun, I am now totally fixated on Christmas, and want to put my tree up right this second. Man, I hate waiting.

Ok, working. I shall return tomorrow!
