Today’s good things:

– Team Boobylicious 2007 has a new member!

– We’re ready to book a cruise in March. I already wrote about it on Vox, so you can go read about it there.

– I’m almost done with my convertible mittens. I just have the second mitten cap left to do, and I expect to finish that at FightKnitting Club tonight. Then I will begin the next pair. This weekend I pulled out all my knitting stuff and was shocked at how many half-finished projects I have. I should maybe work on that.

– MyVote made my candidate-research ridiculously easy today. I think I’ll go pre-work tomorrow, because wearing that sexy red sticker all day is hot.

– I invoiced my last freelance project. My 401k will thank me.

– Wendy and I saw Borat last night. It was really funny and uncomfortably inappropriate. I gagged almost as much as I did during Jackass.

– My dad just asked me to come hang out with him while he had a hamburger at the Federal Cafe. He’s so funny. We discussed cruises, and the fact my mom is afraid to go snorkeling because she’ll have to wear a mask that god-knows-how-many people have worn before her.

In less shiny news, I’ve never in my life had to walk away from something because it made me too happy, and that fact is making me ridiculously sad right now. But, you know, keep moving and everything will be ok again at some point. Also, I could maybe use some sun to go with my unseasonable temperatures. Let’s work on that.
