I almost forgot to update before setting sail on the S.S. Weekend!
(I may be a little obsessed with the cruise in March, by the way. You’ll only be hearing about it for the next four months, sailors.) Last night, I did indeed manage to do all my home-things, after attending a very brief happy hour with Kirby at Kieran’s. I worked on the most awesome xmas present ever, and I base this evaluation on the fact that I was laughing so hard over it I couldn’t see. Also, I made enchiladas with beans and corn and mushrooms and random types of chiles I found in my pantry; they were not anything spectacular, but they were pretty good for being totally made up by someone who rarely cooks. In my mailbox, I found the check for my most recent freelance project, and royalties for the use of one of my photos in a local music magazine. This arrived in the form of a $10 gift certificate to Pizza Luce. I am such a professional now, you don’t even know. And now, it is time for me to go do THINGS, things which do not relate to work in any way, and reside happily in the realm known as awesome. Have an excellent weekend, dudes.Jenni
