GUYS I AM BACK AGAIN ALREADY BECAUSE I AM TOO EXCITED TO FOCUS ON ANYTHING
So, last night was my first broomball game ever. I am not very good at broomball yet, and I discovered it’s hard to remember all the rules when you’re out there running around. Especially offsides, dammit, which is funny because that’s the one I notice most at hockey games. Anyway, I loved it, it was exhausting, and I can’t wait for next week. I’m going to try to make it to practice on Sunday, too. After the game, I took off my shoes and pads but not the rest of my extremely sexy, sweaty broomball getup, and headed to Keegan’s with Jumi for the second round of pub quiz. Matt and Cindi had already taken 2nd place at the early quiz, and our team won the late round. Klein showed up afterward to help celebrate, and talk about ponies. The victory was sweetened by having beaten the team that had been our biggest rival in the weeks since we’d last won, known as Team Douchebag. I don’t think they realized til last night that we were rivals, but the gloves are now off. Shaggy Douchebag is a sore loser. We even got a victory sign! Tonight, we’re going to pregame at Grumpy’s, and then seven of us are going to the Gophers vs Sioux game, which, to judge from the level of excitement already today, is going to be awesome. Then more Grumpy’s, and wherever the evening takes us. I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow, dudes. Have yourselves a merry little weekend. See you soon!Jenni
