My finger still isn’t quite up to typing, so I’ll be quick again!
Matt made it easy by recapping our awesome cooking adventures. He also made bacon-washed scotch last night, which will be accompanying us to the cabin (and I will not be trying it, unless someone can prove there’s no meat in it. UNLIKELY). This is my major accomplishment this week:

I put in that garden along the back fence and planted lilies, black-eyed susans, daylilies, and rhubarb. Seven perennials from Bachmans for $40! I love it. There will be more planting out there eventually (and the garden will extend around the big tree in the left corner of the yard), but there’s plenty of time to work on that.
We also packed and got our camping gear together last night, as we won’t be home tonight and we’re leaving right after work for Joe’s cabin near Nisswa. There will be grilling and card-playing and pirate mini-golf and Zorbaz and a pontoon… I really wish we could just go right now!
