Items of great importance!
1) The 3-Day season kicks off today: at this very moment, people are walking in Boston. It’s exactly 30 days til our event in the Twin Cities. There’s still time to donate!
2) Flugtag is tomorrow. I CAN’T WAIT. Goldy, in the Maroon Baron, is flying first!
3) It rained yesterday and washed the pepper spray off the garden. Guess where the corn was when we got home? Yep, in the squirrels’ stomachs. God, I hate those assholes.
4) I’m in the process of putting in a new garden along our back fence. It has reminded me how much I love digging in the dirt. Seriously, makin’ stuff is good for you in so many ways. This weekend I’d like to pick up edging, mulch, and some plants to put in there. Including rhubarb!
5) We went to trivia with Missy and Joe last night, then stopped at Honey afterwards. I had a Sazerac, in honor of Tales of the Cocktail. (As expected, we’re already making plans to be there next year.) The menu at Honey is good, but we decided that it would be much more impressive if we didn’t have Bradstreet or Town Talk as comparison. It’s hard to live up to those standards.
