i wanted to camp in the yard. 2

I got morel mushrooms at the farmers market yesterday, so there was this for dinner:

We made three little pizzas on the grill, actually. The first was based on this awesome recipe, with the addition of red sauce and frizzled sage from the garden. There was also a margherita pizza, and one Matt made with pepperoni and pineapple. I used the crust in that recipe, and I think it even beats the beer dough on the grill! (Sorry, campers, I’m not bringing it next weekend: proofing yeast in the outdoors is too much work.)

Matt and I managed to spend almost all evening outside. I weeded the garden, laid in the hammock, we rode our bikes to the grocery store, and then we grilled and dined outside. Once the sun went down, we reluctantly headed indoors. I think that means it’s officially summer!

Tonight we’re going to a Twins game with Joe and Missy. I don’t mind if it rains, I don’t don’t want a rainout. My sexy poncho is already waiting in my purse!
