Minnesota forgot that part about how it was spring, and got cold again. We managed to get through the weekend without turning the heat back on, but it was tricky. Knitting a blanket helps:
Friday night, we had another very early-season edition of Friday Night Meats. You know it’s good when people have to spend the night.
We pretty much just hung out over the weekend, and it was awesome. The sun finally came out Saturday!
I finally got to see the color of my car in the light, too. It’s still hard to see here, but it’s covered in brown glitter.
I made some bread and banana bread. We also had brunch with the family for mother’s day, and finally got a new rug for the living room.
I finally wrapped up all the financial ends involving the car purchase, too. My loan is paid off, and I got refunds from my final car payment and the drop in insurance. Then I sat around for a while, marveling at the change in net worth in Mint. That was the point, after all.
Tonight, there will be trivia! I better go look up Joe Mauer’s batting average posthaste.
