beer + boobs = win!

I am nerdy.

I waited til today to go to the post office to get new stamps (now with more cents!) so I could get the exciting triangular ones. Not only am I novelty’s biggest fan, but it reminds me of my stamp collection when I was a little kid. Those triangular stamps, they were FASCINATING. I mean, they were missing an entire side!

So, I ended up confessing to childhood philately at the post office. Granted, I was probably surrounded by proud stamp collectors there, but still. I’m kind of embarrassed. Also, I want to make sure my mom’s still hoarding my old collection somewhere, because I aim to peruse it someday.

Last night was our second-to-last swing dance class. The second-to-last part is very sad, because I love this class more and more every week. Thankfully, we have a coupon for a free private lesson, and are thinking we should maybe take more classes in the fall. It’s so great, and I can’t wait to go out dancing.

Afterward, we got carryout from A La Salsa in the Midtown Exchange, and headed home to picnic on the floor and watch the Survivor reunion show. The best part of the Survivor afterparty? Seeing who actually looked much better on the show, all emaciated and dirty. In this case, it was most of them. We then had a sammich of guilty pleasures: Edgemont (the best Canadian teen drama you’ve never heard of anywhere but here) and The Ultimate Coyote Ugly Search, which sends me into paroxysms of indignation at the sheer stupidity of it all. Now I’m going to go read the bios on CMT’s website. Shut up.

Tonight I’m going to Sarah’s birthday party with Wendy. It’s at Dave & Buster’s in Maple Grove (um, that’s almost in one of the Dakotas, and we’ll probably be forced to stay overnight rather than drive home). I am very very excited to play DDR again, because it’s been way too long.

And now I’m going to sit here and wait for the cruise people to email me back, because I am this close || to booking it. Honduras! Grand Cayman! Swimming with stingrays! January doesn’t seem that far away at all, considering most of the summer is already booked.

Hey, don’t forget about the Flip-Cup Tournament on Saturday! The winning team gets a keg party. That’s a lot of free beer, dudes.
