five different chairs

So, I’m pretty good at seeing the positive side of everything, and making even bad experiences into something valuable. There is one thing I cannot possibly spin, though, and that is traffic. I hate it, because I’m pretty sure it’s created solely to steal time from our lives and make us crabby. I feel like being in my car keeps me away from things that are awesome.

Wait. Miguel is awesome. But he also wants to go fast, and is probably as annoyed as I am by every moment my foot spends on the clutch. I’m very grateful for living in the city, and being able to avoid traffic most of the time. Otherwise I’d be buying a jet pack right about now.

Last night, Matt made beer cheese soup for dinner (SO GOOD), and we watched Knocked Up. I’m kind of angry with you guys for not telling me it was so damn funny (then again, I’d probably have embarrassed myself in the theatre by falling off my chair). Essentially, every scene involving Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd reminded me of my friends. And I really want to go back to Vegas.

Tonight, we’re going to go see Into the Wild. They had just wrapped up filming while we were in Denali. I have already prepared Matt for the fact that I am going to cry.
