Hey, I don’t know if you guys know this or not (ha), but fighting breast cancer is really important to me. As cheesy as all the ‘passionately pink for the cure’ stuff is lately, this Flickr group is one I can really get behind. For every photo you add to the group, they donate $1, up to a total of $50,000. Go make Yahoo donate a decent chunk of cash to finding a cure, dudes.
One of my coworkers went in for her first mammogram at the age of 40 a few months ago, and is now out for a couple weeks being treated for breast cancer. It was a complete surprise, and she keeps telling me that had it not been for my involvement with the 3day, she might not have gone to the doctor for an exam right away. That makes me kind of sad, actually. But she has a really positive attitude, and I know she’ll be alright. Last night, I joined Matt, Missy, and Ryan for drinks at Dixie’s. Twas salsa dance night, and holy crap. I wish I could do that, though there’d probably be an embarrassing amount of falling down. I’ve informed Matt that we should probably participate in the dance lessons on the cruise. The cruise, which is in 3 months. HOORAY!!!Jenni
