I’m pretty sure we had three Tuesdays yesterday. After work, we cleaned, did four loads of laundry, had leftovers for dinner, took a walk along Minnehaha Creek, I did some knitting, and then we went to Dan’s for poker. I hadn’t played hold-em before, so I arrived fully prepared to lose my entire gigantic buy-in: 5 DOLLARS. We are truly big pimpin’.
I had such a great time. I lost eventually, but it took me a while to do so. Round about midnight, I started playing Guitar Hero, and if I hadn’t been so sleepy, I’d probably still be there playing. (I woke up with Surrender stuck in my head, and I think it’s taken up permanent residence.) They were still playing at one, so I took a nap on the couch. We got home about 1:30am, and I’m surprisingly awake today. Thanks, sunshine!
My camera walked off from the 612 Party (I still have trouble believing it was stolen, but who knows?), so Amazon has provided me with the fancy new one I was considering buying anyway. It’s waiting to be picked up a few miles away right this second, and I intend to go retrieve it very shortly. And once again, I’d like to declare that UPS has the best customer service on the planet. I love them a lot.
