Wait, you’re who now?
I have many and various unrelated items for you this fine Sunday! 1. I was pondering the fact that most people’s staples are milk, eggs, bread, and such. Mine are, in order of most-used:- oatmeal
- protein powder
- raisins
- Field Roast deli slices (sundried tomato flavor)
- lowfat string cheese sticks (just ‘cheese’, as in, ‘i’m eating a cheese’)
- frozen cranberries
- microwave popcorn
- ketchup
- canned mushrooms
These are the things in absence of which I will go running frantically to the store.
Speaking of which, I’ve been asked to write a section about my feelings on nutrition and exercise and such. Don’t worry, I’ll put it elsewhere on this site so it’s not all in-your-face. Like… knitting. 2. I don’t actually have much to say about knitting! I’m working on a layette for my future niece-or-nephew, a goofy nubbly hoodie in two garish oranges for me, those Koigu flowers, and only about 200 other projects just waiting for greenlighting (this involves finishing at least one other thing first). I’m looking forward to the flames sweater from SnB2 and perhaps modifying that design to match the hothead cap, since someone needs a matching scarf. 3. Based on recent observations, I have decided there are two types of people in the world. The first likes to do for themselves and their obligations. They take pride in being independent and responsible. The second group likes to get other people to do everything for them. I’m not sure what they have to take pride in, however. 4. I did me some inside-gardening this weekend. It would be criminal to waste the incredible sunlight in this place. Here are some pictures I took for you! click! one – two – three 5. What’s up with the ‘do’ billboards? I’ve seen a couple and they seem to be about getting up and moving your lazy ass. I like them. Please tell me they’re a PSA and not like Nike or something. I’ll be disappointed. 6. Has anyone considered that this president might be trying to top Hitler’s body count? Just a thought. How many dead people is it going to take to make everything right again? I’m not great with American history, so can someone tell me if this is not the most overtly Christian-standards-bearing administration to date? How are they working the PR as regards commandment #6? I dunno, I don’t hear news. I’d be interested to know. 7. Speaking of nieces, I just got this in my email: Kaitie in her snowsuit. Yes, in Florida. 8. Please help Blythe out. Breast cancer is terrifying enough… dealing with it without health insurance is hard to even comprehend. Also, onetitwonder.com is the best domain ever. 9. Dude, I just won the eBay auction that will enable my very next very very stupid project. Awesome!! Jenni P.S. Yes, I took the RSS feed down because it was making me crabby. I need to write a better character-escaping script, and it’ll be back.
