not a moment too soon.

Jeeeeebus!

Muchachoes, I am going to write you quickly now because I fear I will not have the time in the next 24 hours, at which point I will be in seat 14A of a Northwest Airlines MacDonnell Douglas DC-9 aircraft, happily knitting and not thinking about my many and varied work-related projects, which, while gratifying and lucrative, are making me crazy, and therefore I need a break.

Gasp.

In 39 minutes, I will run from this place, I will go to the Y (having learned that the worst thing a person can do is skip their workout when work-stressed), I will run home, I will pick up where I left off with the DOD project last night, I will have a conference call around 6:30 or so re: this project, then I will do more work, deliver the app, and hopefully find time to pack and sleep.

Tomorrow morning I will shove my cats off the wagon by supplying them with gigantic bowls of food and water so that my sister only has to visit once, and then I will drag my suitcase to work with me, and try to be cheerful even with the client with the prodigious skill for breaking things. I can do this! It’s only 24 hours.

[Side note: my mother just called, and I obliviously announced my bra size to the whole office. I’m good entertainment like that.]

It sucks that I have to run, because I had an awesome story about Boe Dangly, too.

See you next week!!
Jenni
