Happy close-to-New-Year’s to you all.
Firstly and most-importantly! I have finished the Budapest/Prague travel journal. And not a moment too soon! Go read it lest I defenestrate you. At least peek at the photos, because some of them are pretty damn good. Also, Bertine’s movies are entertaining. Secondly! I woke this morning to the most amazing snowfall we’ve had in a long time. The trees are all covered in white puffiness. It’s the perfect snowball-and-snowman-making snow, which makes it immensely tragic that I’m at work for at least part of the day. Come to think of it, I can’t wear boots yet anyway; my tattoo has a couple more days of healing left to go. So! I decided not to make resolutions this year. I can’t really think of anything. Sure, everything can always be refined and improved, but that’s nothing to make goals-lists about. OK, wait. I hereby resolve to have more of the same. More time spend with great friends, more fun, more travel, more security, more hard work, more excitement. Easy! Tomorrow night, we’ll be making Cuban food and drinking mojitos at mi casa, with the obligatory champagne (and possibly flaming Puckschlager) at midnight. It’ll be an awesome end to a pretty spectacular year. I decided to summarize the main events with my traditional cop-out: a list. And it’s not even bulleted! In 2005, I…sold my house
