Dear everyone, it is only a few hours until vacation time again!!
Here’s the quick recap of the week: Monday was unexciting, but damn, my house is finally clean for once. Tuesday Cindi and I were bored, so we went out to dinner. We walked into Town Talk and found Matt and later his posse there, so we ended up staying a lot later than dinner, and I fell in love with Ben, aka The Single Guy. Man, their staff there is so incredibly great. Wednesday, the day I call ‘yesterday’, Wendy and I went to FULL CONTACT CAGE FIGHTING at the Myth. It would be very hard for me to accurately summarize the awesomeness that is full contact cage fighting, but I will tell you that it features blood, near-nakedness, girl-fighting (oh my god, they were more hardcore than the men), Hooters girls, SoCo, and a roomful of those overly cocky jackass dudes that I love so well. Holy shit, it was great. Wendy and I left that place really riled up, and came up with at least a couple very bad ideas on the way home. Because that’s what we do. Tonight I’m going to run home for my bag, run to St Paul for Kaye, then run to the parents’ for dinner, because it was my mom’s birthday yesterday. Conveniently afterward, we’ll catch a ride to the airport. Because tonight we’re going to Chicago, and this weekend is Lollapalooza. I’m staying with Lauren, and she’s informed me we’re going to karaoke tonight. And I’m singing. I’d like to apologize to the city of Chicago for that incident in advance. See you next week!Jenni

your questions, answered
q:you do alot fo stuff on the weekends! i spend my whole weekend recovering from working all week. whats with all the energy? a: THERE’S SO MUCH TO DO! I dunno, my job isn’t that stressful. I don’t get very emotionally involved in it, even if I do threaten to toss people out the windows all the time. Also, the problem with having many really fucking awesome friends is that you want to hang out with them all the time. Not that I’m complaining. It’s especially crazy in the summer, with so much to do around here, and so much traveling to get on. I credit most of my energy to working out almost every day, actually. |
