HELLO EVERYONE!
I am highly excitable today. Also, I can summarize my week in a minimum of words, because most of my time has been spent getting ready for the 3day. My bag is almost packed, my Camelbak is prepared, and my cats just need feeding. Monday: walking with WendyTuesday: haircut (Mahogany yelled, “Jenni! You’re blonde!!”)
Wednesday: Town Talk with Matt, followed by the crew
Today: Jane’s last day at work Tomorrow, Wendy, Jane, the rest of Team Boobylicious (not to mention a few thousand others) and I are going to set off on a three-day, sixty-mile journey. This is the culmination of an entire year of fundraising, planning, and training. It’s my second 3day, and I can’t wait to be back. The fact we’re even going to be there tomorrow is thanks in huge part to so many of you. You’ve bought cookies and truffles, come to our events, donated your money, and spread the word. This is one of the most important things I’ll ever be a part of, and I appreciate what you’ve done to make it possible. I’ll be back doing it again next year, and I hope that some of you will even decide to join the team. I guarantee it will change your life. Here are the details on the cheering stations and closing ceremonies. I’m really excited that some of you guys are planning on being at the stations, because, honestly, sometimes that encouragement is the only thing that keeps us going. If you’re planning on being at a certain station, let me know and I’ll try to contact you from the stop closest to that location, so you have a good estimate of when we’ll be there. I plan on taking about a million pictures, being inspired over and over, and crying a lot. And then I’m going to come back here and tell you all about it, so hopefully you’ll be as excited as I am to do this all over again next year. See you next week!
