Hello, humans and robots.
Did you know that the National Park Service has started publishing a magazine? It’s better than porn. I am serious. :-[
You know what else? I’ve been in my apartment for two years! Dude.
A third else:
don’t forget to order holiday cookies! If you’re not in the area, we’ll get them shipped to you by xmas.
So. Monday night, Matt and I cursed Town Talk for not being open, and went to Babalu instead. We dined on appetizers and a salad the size of the moon, he drank Cristal (no, really!), and we very nearly suffered the cheese sweats, because in Latin cuisines, vegetarian = dairy. Afterward, I went to
FightKnitting Club, the highlight of which was Cindi yelling VAGINA at Dunn Brothers. Also, since my classes are now done for the season, we decided to move to Tuesday nights. Which means: knitting, then Town Talk. Score.
Last night, I got my apartment back to conditions suitable for human habitation, and worked on uploading some more old vacation photos to Flickr. I added
Washington DC and
the Bahamas. Later in the evening, I joined Wendy and Bill at Town Talk. Bill and I had a long discussion about Eagan, and then about Flickr. You know what’s really awesome about that site? I’ve gotten several requests now from people wanting to use my photos in publications and travel sites. It’s an unexpected bonus.
This may be why I dreamt all night about tagging photos. Disturbing.
Today, I set up my
Deskmas Tree at work, and we’ve been admiring its ridiculous gaudiness all day. To celebrate, we ordered pizza from Luce. Tonight, I need to run and get me some broomball equipment, because we have our first practice on Sunday. I need warmer outdoor clothes, too, since I prefer to keep my fingers attached to my person. Also, I hear that my power tools may be called-upon tonight. My drill, perverts.
In conclusion, today is the best day ever. The End.
