MERRY!

SNOW!!!

It’s about time! I hope it sticks around.

So, this week in quick review, before I run off to do last-minute-type things. Monday, I began my cookie-deliveries, did all the pornographically-exciting paperwork and filing at mi casa, then went to chillax with my favorite boy and watch the Survivor finale.

Tuesday, I poured cold water into my bra at work to wake up (it was unintentional, but highly effective), did more cookie deliveries, then met with las chicas for FightKnitting Club at our new location at the Dunn Brothers in Loring Park. We discovered that it’s the Tuesday-night home of a few other rival knitting gangs, and one of their members even joined us. I think we may have scared her, though. Afterward, Cindi and Jumi and I paid our usual visit to Town Talk, and found it surprisingly empty.

Yesterday, I delivered the last o’ the cookies, and scrambled to the grocery store when I realized my cats were out of food, and would likely exact revenge in the best way they know how. Lunds had nothing left but ocean whitefish, and that? HUGE MISTAKE. I gagged from the can-opening to the pill-mixing to the floor-setting. Later in the eventide, I met Matt at Town Talk, and found all the people who apparently forgot to go Tuesday night all crammed in there at once. Guys, can’t we all spread out our visits more effectively?

Though, really, you can hardly complain much about a place where the bartenders hand you your drink immediately upon walking in, even if you’re loitering in the entryway awaiting a seat.

Today I spent an hour calling bookstores in search of the present B&N decided not to ship me, a couple hours thereafter being mad at my hand for hurting so damn much (I think it’s the weather), and the rest of the day staring out the window at the snow. SNOW!!! I’m so excited!! Tonight we’re going to pub quiz, and then I shall go home to pack, for I doubt I’ll have time tomorrow night.

Saturday I’m heading up to family xmas at gramma’s, and I’m really hoping I’ll be able to return on Sunday. Two days off here with nothing much to do sounds pretty damn awesome to me, dudes. Therefore, I will speak at you again sometime next week, and in the meantime:

HAVE AN AWESOME HOLIDAY, EVERYONE.
