!!!!!!!

I’m sitting here waiting for the sun to come out, and it’s being far too coy. It has exactly one hour to make patio-settin’ ideal, or ELSE.

Last night was swing-dance class, and it was even more awesome than the last time, not only because we got to learn the totally gay move known as the ‘sweetheart’. Huuuugs! Next week, we are supposed to wear real dancin’ shoes, and not sneakers or sandals. This means I have to go shopping, obviously, since my non-sneaker-or-sandal wardrobe consists of shoes that are better for looking good than, you know, being stood upon.

Afterward, we dined on the King of Pizza and watched the Royal Canadian Hosers defeat the Stars, which is gonna make that Ca-Ducks series hella painful to watch. I can only hope they beat each other into teamwide suspensions or something. Stupid hockey.

Today I’ve had far too much time to think random thoughts, as Matt is in a seminar two blocks away all day (though that does mean we got to go to lunch together), and work is unusually slow. I spent a good half-hour basking in my calendar’s awesomeness, re: the following spring/summer weekend plans:

Craftstravaganza and surprise party!
– Cinco de Mayo (BBQ or just party? I don’t know yet!)
– Our 6-month anniversary trip to somewhere I can’t tell you because it’s a surprise!
Flip-Cup Tournament!
– Memorial Day camping!
– Greenie Century!
– Jumi’s birthday party!
– My birthday party!
– Hip-hop and Harmony!
– Roughrider Days!
– Hobo Week!
– Twine Ball Days!
– The 3Day!

Um, there are a couple free weekends round about July, and I’d really like to reserve them for more camping and picnicking and going to the drive-in. And roadtrips. And laying on the orange blanket at the lake. And playing catch.

Man. I’m so excited.

Before I go, I wish to remind you Twin Citians that Thursday is Dining Out for Life. You should do so, since pretty much every restaurant in town is participating anyway, and will donate a portion of their profits to the Aliveness Project. Also, Boobylicious Trivia II takes place exactly one week from today, and it’s going to be even better than the original. We have a bunch of raffle prizes this time, including second-row seats along the first base line for a Twins game in July. Come join us, for the low low price of only $5 per person.

Have an excellent Tuesday, everybody.
Jenni
