So, ok! I’m rushing because it’s almost time to go.

You know how I was varying degrees of single for a year or so, and I’ve had my own apartment for almost three years? Not once in that whole time did I ever feel lonely. I loved it, in fact. So now my boyfriend goes out of town one day before I do, and I’m all sighing when I go to bed by myself, because I miss him.

I CAN’T HELP IT! He’s my favorite. And I’m going to see him tonight!

Tuesday night was the highly-successful kickoff to the Greenie Millennium. Nine of us convened, and the closing total was 32, which means we only have 968 more to go. Also, we played naked ladies so much that the machine broke and general panic ensued. I’m pretty sure it must be back to working by now, or I’m never going back.

On Wednesday night, I baked and was wholesomely domestic until hockeytime, when I met Cin at Lyle’s to watch the Stupidass Ducks win again. Man, I hate those guys. Matt joined us after bowling, and we ended the evening with a couple Very Special Episodes of Edgemont, like the one where Jen loses her virginity and Boner lies to everybody, a lot! Sorry if I’m spoiling it for you, dudes. I know you are all fans.

Yesterday, we had an early-birthday dinner for Jumi at Town Talk, and then went over to Pi to hustle pool and generally be awesome. I discovered that our favorite server from Grumpy’s works there, too. I was home in bed by 11:30pm, and, well, you know the rest. Sigh!

This morning, we had a meeting with potential clients in Anoka, which is somewhat closer to Canada than Minneapolis (or so it felt at 8am). Pam sent us to lunch afterward, which meant we didn’t get back here til almost 2pm. SCORE. And very shortly, I’ll be on my way to South Dakota, scones and cookies in tow. I hear there may be awesome bars, canasta, and the boy I love in my very near future.

We’ll be back Sunday, dudes, hopefully in time to catch some of the shows at Grand Old Day. See you then!
Jenni
