It’s 5:30pm and I’ve been dressed for half an hour. It was indeed that kind of party.
I don’t think anybody expected the turnout we had last night. It’s seriously awesome to throw a party and realize that you don’t even know half the people who show up. Robert’s karaoke setup was incredible, and I’m pretty sure everybody had a great time. Plus it’s always a personal goal to have people meet and exchange numbers, so: WIN! Toward the end of the night, Matt and I retired to a stairwell to, um, uphold a 612 party tradition. After upholding said tradition, I decided that I was just going to stay there and sleep. He convinced me to go to the car, and then I revised my plan and was going to spend the night there instead. Thanks to him, I did actually make it all the way to bed. Today, we’ve been gloriously plan-free until 8pm, when hockey begins again. I’ve been knitting on the couch all day, with a short break to carve our very cute pumpkin. I will take pictures if I ever find my camera! Jenni
