Walking to work this morning, I saw a man toting a rifle case. I was only slightly more reassured when he entered the building with the supersecret garage containing the SWAT team vehicles.
Wendy and I arranged our seats on the flight back from the cruise earlier today. It’s important that all three of us are seated together so that we can laugh uncontrollably the whole way, exactly like we did when we went to Vegas. After we finished, I may have perused my flight options to places like Los Angeles, Nashville, St Thomas, Puerto Rico, and Jamaica. If it weren’t for hockey every weekend, I’d probably have booked at least one of those. I know we should wait til after the cruise to have other exciting vacations, but it’s VERY DIFFICULT. Last night, we only left Matt’s apartment to go to the store for provisions. He made an extremely awesome lasagna, and I made garlic bread on ciabatta. We even had salads, and this fact would make my mother very proud. I did so much knitting during football and baseball that my left hand is still sore, and then we ended the evening in the wildest way possible: playing cards. Hey, 100% debauchery would kill a foo’.
