I have to be up at 4am tomorrow to head to the hinterlands for the Breast Cancer 3-Day. So I&#8217;ll do the quick notes!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My day began with an emergency trip to the doctor for an x-ray. I realized with a sinking feeling the other day that my foot that began hurting after I walked 20 miles was hurting in exactly the spot I broke it years ago. However! The x-ray revealed it was not a stress fracture, which would mean don&#8217;t walk. It&#8217;s either a bone spur or tendonitis, both of which hurt, but I can take hurt. If you think you&#8217;re going to walk 60 miles comfortably, you&#8217;re&#8230; dumb.\n<\/li>\n<li>I was <i>not<\/i> expecting to reach my $2000 fundraising goal, but it happened today. I&#8217;m so blown away. Thank you so much to everyone who donated.<!-- xoxoxoxo+ to you for saving the day as always... and to ms over-the-top too ;) --> That&#8217;s a hell of a lot of money, and all I contributed was my entrance fees. Please go look at <a href='http:\/\/www.plinko.net\/3day\/' target='wakachika'>the little scrolly list<\/a> with everyone&#8217;s dedications! And I know it doesn&#8217;t say $2000 yet, but that&#8217;s just lag. I&#8217;m there. That makes me so happy.\n<\/li>\n<li>I went to check-in and orientation today, and finally got a look at the whole route. Tomorrow involves the western suburbs, and lots of places I haven&#8217;t been. Saturday is a tour of southwest Minneapolis. We visit the chain of lakes, and I&#8217;ll pass within a mile of my house. Sunday is a straight shot from Bloomington to the state capitol grounds in St. Paul. We&#8217;ll be wrapping up with closing ceremonies at 4:30pm. Be there! Or something. I&#8217;ll be the one with the orange pigtails. Easy to find.<!-- yes, there is photodocumentary evidence. special for you. -->\n<\/li>\n<li>I should sell my protein bars. I&#8217;m like Julia Child for diabetic vegetarian athletes. That&#8217;s a huge untapped market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p \/>Ok, that&#8217;s all I&#8217;ve got in me for tonight. Thanks again for your support and well-wishes.
