That freaks me out really bad.<\/p>\n<p \/>Have a nice day!<br \/>Jenni<\/p>\n<p \/>Oh wait! There&#8217;s more.<\/p>\n<p \/>Yesterday we made huge progress at work. It&#8217;s been a frustrating bottleneck the past couple weeks, but we got through a lot and I was happy about it, even though there&#8217;s some attitude floating around these parts that&#8217;s a major downer. I even brought scones and muffins to cheer these people up, and no go. Oh well!<\/p>\n<p \/>I prepared (read: scribbled) my taxes by hand and was pretty excited about the outcome. Yeah, it&#8217;s a ton of money, but I was prepared for that. It&#8217;s not as terrible as it could be, and I&#8217;m proud of myself. I figured it out, and I even planned it so I could fund my IRA for last year. The check&#8217;s in the mail today, and the rest of the money is sitting in my savings account til April 15. Like I&#8217;m gonna give it to them early? They&#8217;ll just blow it all on soda and dirty magazines.<\/p>\n<p \/>The investment thing is huge. I haven&#8217;t been good at much other than the 401k in the past. Now that the taxes are dealt with, I want to get something else set up. I keep going back and forth between a Roth IRA, so I have two retirement accounts, or just a brokerage account with general investments. Between Scotty and me, you&#8217;ve never seen two people get so worked up about finances. Quicken is <i>hot<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p \/>Next week is detoxing. Massage this weekend, then the detox: this means fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, and water. That&#8217;s it! Everything natural, nothing processed. I&#8217;ve gathered a couple recipes and was glad to realize I can eat homemade hummus, and also spaghetti squash. These will be my staples. Also, I&#8217;m down to a single shot of espresso in the morning, in preparation for no caffeine next week.<\/p>\n<p \/>Notice there is no Luce in this plan?
