Since it will take me some time to compile my travel journal, I pulled out 18 of my favorite pictures. Shopping at <a href='http:\/\/www.shirokiya.com\/' target='there'>Shirokiya<\/a>, the Japanese department store<\/p>\n<p \/>2. Meandering through the little surf town of Paia, Maui<\/p>\n<p \/>3. Seeing black sand beaches<\/p>\n<p \/>4. Hiking 5+ miles through lava fields to see Kilaueia dumping lava into the ocean<\/p>\n<p \/>5. Trying poi for the first and only time in my life<\/p>\n<p \/>6. Swimming in the ocean between Maui and Lanai<\/p>\n<p \/>7. Hiking Sliding Sands Trail above the clouds on Haleakala<\/p>\n<p \/>8. Watching fireworks from the boardwalk in Lahaina<\/p>\n<p \/>9. Wandering Waikiki with flowers in my hair<\/p>\n<p \/>And, my shiningest moment in Hawaii:<\/p>\n<p \/>10.
