Our fall travel plans have been mostly finalized and they are AWESOME.<\/p>\n
The Monday after the wedding, we’re heading to Key West. Four nights there plus a seaplane trip to the Dry Tortugas, and then we’re driving up the Keys and spending the night on South Beach before heading back here (via the ever-popular Fort Lauderdale airport).<\/p>\n
The following series of weekends look like this:<\/p>\n
Los Angeles<\/strong>: we probably won’t actually spend that much time in the city on this visit, but we’ve been there twice recently. The first night is in Costa Mesa (near Matt’s conference) and the second will be in Seal Beach, within a couple miles of Don the Beachcomber and walking distance of 320 Main and the Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n Philadelphia<\/strong>: while Matt’s teaching people to be nerds, I’m visiting the Mutter Museum<\/a>. I’ve wanted to go there forever! Saturday night, we’re hitting up Atlantic City. Hell yes.<\/p>\n Bismarck<\/strong>: this one will just be an overnight roadtrip with Matt’s awesome coworker. I like that people have actually given me advice on what to do there.<\/p>\n Seattle<\/strong>: originally this was going to be somewhere in the middle of nowhere near Albany, so this is a serious upgrade. We’ll get to see Colleen and Steve, and finally meet their daughter!<\/p>\n Week off for Annual Halloween Party<\/strong><\/p>\n Boston<\/strong>: we’re taking an extra day here, because we had such a good time on the previous visit. And I’ll get to visit my last two states in the US: New Hampshire and Maine!!<\/p>\n …And then over the winter we’ll probably live like hermits, so that we can afford the Great Honeymoon Adventure of 2012.
