I almost forgot to update before setting sail on the S.S. Weekend!<\/p>\n

(I may be a little obsessed with the cruise in March, by the way. You’ll only be hearing about it for the next four months, sailors.)<\/p>\n

Last night, I did indeed manage to do all my home-things, after attending a very brief happy hour with Kirby at Kieran’s. I worked on the most awesome xmas present ever, and I base this evaluation on the fact that I was laughing so hard over it I couldn’t see. Also, I made enchiladas with beans and corn and mushrooms and random types of chiles I found in my pantry; they were not anything spectacular, but they were pretty good for being totally made up by someone who rarely cooks.<\/p>\n

In my mailbox, I found the check for my most recent freelance project, and<\/i> royalties for the use of one of my photos in a local music magazine. This arrived in the form of a $10 gift certificate to Pizza Luce. I am such a professional now, you don’t even know.<\/p>\n

And now, it is time for me to go do THINGS, things which do not relate to work in any way, and reside happily in the realm known as awesome<\/i>.<\/p>\n
