Happy Valentine’s Day, internetland!<\/p>\n

Twould likely not shock you too greatly, were I to assert that today is already the best day ever. (Speaking of which, Kaye keeps reminding me to register bestdayever.com, but it’s in that expired-limbo and I can’t, and also, it’s possible I may have far too many domains already.) Anyway, here are some reasons why! And it’s not even noon!<\/p>\n

– Flowers from Matt<\/a>, which made me cry at my desk
– The red velvet cake<\/a> I made for dinner tonight
– My new hair color<\/a>, which Mahogany picked this time, because she knows me well.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Wendy and Matt and I dined at Bar Abilene, and then I lost at canasta again<\/i>. BUT ONLY BY A FEW POINTS, and the last hand, I went out with both style and flair. Yesterday involved much scrambling, including a very long hair appointment, grocery-and-other shopping, heart-shaped cake-baking (you KNOW it), fighting<\/strike>knitting, and going to Town Talk. It should be noted that we love Nathan, a lot.<\/p>\n

As you already know, I am very much looking forward to tonight, but I will tell you about it later. Well, some of it, at least.<\/p>\n
