– on a panhandler’s sign at I94 and Broadway.<\/p>\n

Visited between the hours of 6pm Friday and 11pm Sunday, a weekend shortened by an hour but lengthened by legend:<\/i><\/p>\n

  1. Salut<\/a> for Matt’s article, only to find the bartender had gone missing<\/li>\n
  2. Barbette<\/a> for a quick (but no less romantic) pregame, featuring pommes frites<\/li>\n
  3. Mariucci Arena<\/a> to watch the Gophers crush Anchorage in a highly-satisfying and much-needed 6-2 win in the WCHA tournament quarterfinals<\/li>\n
  4. Grumpy’s<\/a> for the customary post-game; we were joined by Michelle and Dustin (Cindi’s sister and her boyfriend), Cindi and her parents, Wendy, and Jumi; we commenced Wendy’s birthday celebrations with some free decorations<\/a> bestowed upon us by the staff<\/li>\n
  5. The 90’s<\/a> for dancing with the vajayjay girls, and the usual ridiculawesomeosity<\/li>\n
  6. The Happy Gnome<\/a> for Matt’s story and lunch<\/li>\n
  7. Suzi’s<\/a> to hang out with Pete, Christa, and Ryan, and have a drink inside a log<\/a><\/li>\n
  8. Temple<\/a> again for Matt’s story, where we got to meet Thom Pham and acquainted ourselves with another favorite bartender (Ricky), who made us drinks<\/a> based on our color suggestions<\/a><\/li>\n
  9. King & I<\/a> briefly, also for the story<\/li>\n
  10. Luce<\/a> for Wendy’s birthday dinner<\/li>\n
  11. Lyle’s<\/a> for Wendy’s party and to watch the most nervewracking Gophers game of all time, which led to significant fear they might not make it to the Final Five<\/li>\n
  12. The Yacht Club<\/a> for further birthday hijinx<\/li>\n
  13. The Otter<\/a> because, well, duh; naked lady photo hunt, Jumi singing ‘Private Dancer’, Matt<\/a> punching a cutout of Dale Jr, Wendy wearing a headlamp<\/a><\/li>\n
  14. Santana’s<\/a> for the best afterbar food<\/a> on the planet<\/li>\n
  15. Bobby and Steve’s<\/a>, which had turned into a police state somewhere around 3am<\/li>\n
  16. REI<\/a> with Cindi and Wendy to shop for cruise stuff and try on sexy shoes<\/a><\/li>\n
  17. The Aerodrome<\/a> to pick up Andy<\/a> (and Belinda<\/a>?)<\/li>\n
  18. The Mall of America<\/a> because every visitor to Minneapolis must<\/i> see it; peoplewatching was in full effect, holy crap<\/li>\n
  19. The Happy Gnome<\/a> to meet up with Matt and Missy after the Wild game<\/li>\n
  20. Lyle’s<\/a> to watch the Gophers earn their way into the Final Five, thank god; I cried. Four times. It was highly emotional<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To summarize:<\/i>
    It is a miracle that nobody has died of exhaustion. Yet!<\/p>\n
