You can see most of days 1-4 <a href='http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/queen_of_subtle\/sets\/72157600045134867\/' target='x'>right here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p \/>On Wednesday night, we did nothing but have an Indian-food picnic on the living room floor and curl up on the couch. It&#8217;s possible we may have made out to <i>American Gladiators<\/i>, too. Hey, that show was awesome!<\/p>\n<p \/>I knew Matt&#8217;s parents had arrived in town last night when I walked into his apartment and found his previously-bare counters buried under piles of food. His mom had prepared a buffet on the table, complete with Easter plates. We ate and then went downtown, stopping at MacKenzie&#8217;s for a pre-show drink (a bar I spent perhaps 40% of my life at when I worked at the State Theatre). We then proceeded to the Orpheum to see Harry Connick Jr.<\/p>\n<p \/>I wasn&#8217;t really familiar with his music, but the show was great, and the band was unbelievable. Also, I was very amused at all the middle-aged ladies wetting themselves over him. I know the dude is married, but I could swear he&#8217;s gay. Every time he heckled the audience, he did so in a shrill, bitchy voice I&#8217;ve only heard regularly within the confines of the 90s.<\/p>\n<p \/>Afterward, we went to Solera for tapas and beverages. While the service was a catastophe (at least half the plates we were delivered weren&#8217;t ours, and some of ours never quite made it to us), the drinks were very good, and helped maintain my Caribbean glow; it&#8217;s threatening to fade, what with the (short-lived, I hope) return of winter.<\/p>\n<p \/>Tonight i plan to bake something dessertlike for tomorrow, and then go out and chill with the homies. We had originally considered dancing, but I&#8217;m really into the idea of just hanging out tonight. What with vacation, it feels like it&#8217;s been a really long time.<\/p>\n<p \/>Have an excellent weekend, Easter, and Bad Saturday, you guys.
