The vet called 10 minutes after I found her, with the bad news I was already expecting.<\/p>\n<p \/>She&#8217;d been in many other places over the past week: at the doctor, at Cindi&#8217;s, at Matt&#8217;s apartment at night. During the day while I was at work, I took her to my apartment so she could be at home with the other cats. I&#8217;m very glad she was there resting comfortably at the end.<\/p>\n<p \/>We took her to my parents&#8217; house and buried her in the garden, and marked the spot with a C made of stones.<\/p>\n<p \/>She&#8217;s lived with me for almost 14 years, and she will be missed.<\/p>\n<p \/>Jenni<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>rest in peace, chloe. you are loved.
