Please let me know if you&#8217;d like to be involved this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In case you don&#8217;t know how it works:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aliveness.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Aliveness Project<\/a> supports people living with HIV\/AIDS in the Twin Cities. Every year, they organize a holiday basket drive, in addition to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aliveness.org\/hb.htm\" target=\"_blank\">several other programs<\/a>. We adopt a family (or multiple families), shop for them, wrap the gifts, and deliver them to the Aliveness Project. Their volunteers deliver baskets the week of Christmas or Hanukkah.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The suggested budget per person is $35; we usually run closer to $40 each. You don&#8217;t have to shop if you don&#8217;t want; you can just donate the cash and we&#8217;ll buy the gifts. I have all the gift-wrapping supplies, and will deliver the baskets to the Aliveness Project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Please let me know by next <strong>Friday the 20th<\/strong> if you want to be involved! I&#8217;m hoping to adopt as many people as possible this year. It&#8217;s been a rough time for everyone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">P.S.
