It’s really good.

I felt a little guilty about eating that til I researched the ingredients. Now I don’t, though the “not guaranteed vegetarian” thing is a little alarming. I’ve yet to find a piece of salami lurking in there.

That’s from dinner last night at Delights of India, which is in the spot formerly occupied by Delights of India v1.0b, Natraj, and Marla’s, across the street from the oldschool Arby’s in Uptown. We went for the vegetarian street food dinner, organized by TC Foodies. Here are much better pictures, and a lot more about the meal. It was fantastic.

We also got to meet a bunch of people I’ve known of from the interwebs for a while, including Crystal. What I didn’t know til last week was that we were in Vegas with the same group of people last year, but never ran into each other. She’s friends with Klein’s girlfriend, Steph. I do love me some small-world encounters; it seems to happen a lot in Minneapolis.

After dinner, Matt and I went to SKATOBERFEST at Gasthof. Oh yes. $3 cover, a crowd consisting almost totally of the bands’ friends and family, and an opportunity to see Mario Keller’s without wanting to stab everyone there. I wish we could’ve stayed longer, but work appreciates it when I’m there on time. I think?

Two things I’m trying not to think too much about:

1) The Gophers open the regular season tomorrow night. This is awesome, of course, except for the fact that they play the (soon-to-be-ex-)Fighting Sioux in North Dakota. THE STRESS.

2) Matt’s teaching a seminar on incredibly nerdy webthings on Saturday. (You have my permission to call him a social media expert! Go ahead! It’ll be funny!) This is also awesome, of course, except for the fact that the seminar is in Utica. I will do my absolute best to occupy myself and not be emo between now and Sunday.

I will also report back on my progress. Count on that.

Look. Here come two very different kinds of delicious.
