Dudes, this is the first time I’ve posted on a Saturday in at least 16 years. I swear.<\/p>\n
Yesterday after work, Matt and I headed to the Dollar Spot for The Office<\/i> merchandise, because we are dorks. In very exciting news, I bought a grater. How I’ve lived here for 3 years without one, I do not know.<\/p>\nWe caused some panic at Town Talk by requesting a table in the dining room; Nick and Tim took turns gaping at us, confused. We were joined by Matt’s parents and aunt and uncle, and we all had a ridiculously good time. Tim brought us shots of the new greatest thing ever: Feckin Irish Whiskey<\/a>. We ended dinner with Mexican Wrestlers, and his dad did one with us. Hysterical.<\/p>\nThey headed to the hotel, and we went to the Cardinal to join Wendy and Cindi. We headed out on an impromptu pub crawl: Stasiu’s (POS was there, but we didn’t stay because there was a cover), the Northeast Palace (home of the worst karaoke ever), the Vegas Lounge, followed by the Otter. Of course. None of them had been to Vegas Lounge, so I was happy to introduce them. We fell in love with our server, Sue, who brought us many terrible shots. Also, Cindi and I traded tank tops while sitting at the table. We are awesome.<\/p>\nAnd now that my cats have been fed, I’m heading back to Matt’s to bake cookies and apple crisp, and then we’re headed to Oktoberfest at Gasthof.
