It wasn&#8217;t a surprise at all; she&#8217;s been in and out of the hospital and nursing home for quite a while, and was suffering badly in recent weeks. She&#8217;s had a very rough time of it since my grandpa died a few years ago, so we&#8217;re all glad now that she can rest, and they can be together again.<\/p>\n<p \/>Mostly I&#8217;m sad for my mom. For several months, she&#8217;s been spending more time in Michigan than at home. We miss her a lot, and it&#8217;ll be very good to have her back here.<\/p>\n<p \/>Plans aren&#8217;t final yet, but it sounds like the funeral will be Tuesday.
