Last night, I got my new snow tires. They came with a full new set of wheels, because that was cheaper than buying tires for the custom rims. Also, swapping out wheels costs $39 (I’ll have to do that twice a year from now on), as opposed to the $200+ each time they change the tires.<\/p>\n
I found out quickly that my new tires are worth every single one of the million or so pennies they cost me. My car stopped fishtailing almost completely, and it’s even braking better. I intentionally took the crappy back streets home from the shop, and I was in disbelief. That was the best purchase ever.<\/p>\n
I would like to thank Steve’s Tire and Auto<\/a> on Nicollet Avenue for being SO AWESOME. They were incredibly nice to work with, answered my hundred-or-so questions, and were concerned with me getting the best price. I appreciate that. I picked them based on several glowing reviews on the internet, and I’d like to add my voice to that. I’ll be returning there in the future.<\/p>\n I would also like to thank my boyfriend for coming to get the summer tires, as only one of them would fit in my car!
