GUYS. I was not joking when I said this would be the longest week ever. I was pretty sure I was going to die between the hours of 1 and 2pm yesterday. However, it’s now Friday, there’s a hockey game tonight, and tomorrow WE’RE GOING ON A CRUISE!!!<\/p>\n
This week has been mostly dedicated to packing and organizing and killing time so we’re not dying of having to wait. Tuesday, Matt and I went to see an exhibition at Altered Aesthetics so he could write an article about it. I went to the mall while he typed, then to Kohl’s for the always-thrilling bra shopping adventure. It went well, though, and I called my mom immediately thereafter to tell her she won. She’s been haranguing me for years to get a Kohl’s card (“They have such good coupons! You get a discount on everything!!”), and it turned out I couldn’t pass it up; I got 3 bras, underpants, and an awesome Twins hoodie for $50 off. Score.<\/p>\n
Wednesday, we had deep-dish at Suzi’s (which doesn’t suck in the winter), then went to Jaros for some hot naked lady action<\/a>. Last night, I played DDR HOT PARTY on the Wii for a while, then we did pub quiz at Keegan’s. We only took second in the first quiz and didn’t even place in the late one. That’s because Terry wrote all the questions, and therefore the answers were tainted with republicanism. That’s my theory, at least.<\/p>\n Today I’m counting down the hours left at work (current status: 5), then there’s dinner at Grumpy’s, followed by HOCKEY. We haven’t been to Mariucci in over a month, and I’m very glad to be able to see a game before vacation. Also, it’s a somewhat-changed team, as Carman is back and Okposo is gone. (That was kind of a dick move<\/a>, Kyle.) After the game, we’ll likely be in bed in 20 minutes.
