101 Things v2 Final Progress Report

Begin Date: April 4, 2013
End Date: December 31, 2015
Items Completed: 53
Items that won’t be Completed: 5

I’m over 50%!!!! OK, that’s not that great, since I did 73 things on the previous list. I’m not mad about it – I moved TWICE this year, after all.

Most of the stuff we just didn’t have time to get around to, and I still plan to do – for example, we’re going to spring training in Fort Myers this year (we have ferry tickets and everything!) and we’ll be going up to Orlando to visit the family. While we did our usual amount of traveling, it was mostly domestic, so we only got to two new countries.

The double-my-net worth thing was on track til about 6 months ago thing when the market decided it had other plans. That’ll come back, though. Moving was obviously expensive, but I’m pretty close to having all those expenses back in savings. When you work from home on an island, it’s pretty critical to have six months of living expenses saved up.

There are a few things that halfway through I wasn’t really interested in anymore, like writing an app or being better at bowling. We don’t even have a bowling alley in Key West.

I’m not starting a new 101 Things right away next year, either. We’ve only been here three months, and I want more time to determine what I want to focus on here. Half my list would just be ‘kayak here, kayak there, go in a boat, learn to be a boat captain, kayak other places, buy a boat….’. I need to think about what’s realistic.

But this was really fun.

I finished 2 items in December 2015.

#93 Do Project 365 again in 2015 (photos here!)

#99 Put $20 into savings for each completed task on this list, and $70 for each non-completed task ($1200)

Here’s the full list.
