We took my parents on a sunset sail last night on the Appledore, one of the few schooners here we haven’t been on. It was excellent, even though it was a bit too cloudy to see sunset. We sailed out farther than we’ve gone before, too.
We took my mom to the Green Parrot for a drink, then went over to Hogfish for dinner.
Today we took the Sunset Key water taxi over to Latitudes for lunch. We ate on the patio overlooking the beach, and the food was way better than last time. After lunch, we drove up to Big Pine with a few shopping steps along the way. My mom wanted to see No Name Pub, so we stopped in there for beer and pizza. It was dusk when we left, so we got to see a ton of Key deer wandering around when we left.
