My parents are arriving tonight, staying through Sunday morning. I’m very excited to be able to use our guestroom already, even though with the bed in here it’s making my workspace a little cramped. (That’s OK – while they’re here I’ll work at the table where I can keep an eye on the chicken population.)
We’re planning on taking them to Roostica for dinner tonight, and possibly for a sunset cruise tomorrow. We also have reservations for Sunset Key, which means taking their water taxi over to the island for lunch. Last time we were there, we saw dolphins playing at the beach. I’m going to call them up and ask for a repeat visit.
Since they won’t be here til 7 or so, I think I’m going to ride my bike down to Mallory Square and gawk at the cruise ship there. That never gets old.
